[A rym (other MS. reme) þat es ful wlatsome Es his (a man's) garment when he forth sal com, þat es noght bat a blody skyn þat he byfor was lapped in, Pricke of Conscience, 520. See Nares' Glossary, s. v. rim. O. Sax. reomo the latchet of a shoe : O. H. Ger. riumo corrigia, lorea, balteus, habena : Ger. riemen.]
