Scride-finnas, pl. m.
A people who, according to Jornandes and Procopius, seem to have inhabited the present Russian Lapland and other tracts thereabouts, and even to have extended into the present Swedish Finnland. [Procopius, sigma;κριθίφινοι; Adam of Bremen, Scritefinni; Paulus Diaconus, Scritobini; Saxo Grammaticus, Scricfinni.]
